London has Fallen 2016

The British Prime Minister has passed away and all the leaders of the Western world will converge on London to attend his funeral.  Everything is being done to insure the safety of spectators and attendees.  In a short time, everything falls apart and many of the famous structures of London are blown away in explosions.  Many people are shot on the streets and the President of the United States is facing capture and a possible execution televised by the media.
There is a LOT of action but care is not taken with continuity, believability, there is predictability and lack of realism.  Some of the dialog is corny and real acting seems to be a furrowed brow?  If you like a lot of explosions that you know are not real, you could be interested in this film? 2 ½* (This film is just so-so)

99 min, Action directed by Babak Najafi with Gerard Butler, Aaron Eckhart, Morgan Freeman, Radha Mitchell, Angela Bassett.

Note:  Imdb 5.9 out of 10, 26% critic 53% audience on Rotten Tomatoes, Roger Ebert ½*, Amazon 4.2* out of 5* with 3335 reviews.
Special Note:  Filmed in New Boyana Film Studios, Sofia, Bulgaria; India, Cutty Sark, Greenwich, London, Langley Sough, Berkshire, Clifotn Street, EC2A 4DW London, Dunsford Aerodrome, Surrey, Earl Street, EC2A 2AL London, UK.  The prequel to this film, Olympus Has Fallen was released in 2013 and the plot here is about 6 years later.
