Rio, I Love You 2014

This movie is a series of short films set in Rio de Janerio.  Each story is of an encounter about love in a different Rio neighborhood.  New York and Paris have also had films with their cities as the focus.  This film was released before the Olympics were hosted by Rio.
A lot of ensemble pieces or short films seem to have the same problem?  For this reason, I usually don't like them!!  There isn’t enough focus on one story and then it moves on to the next.  Everything seems rushed, not explored fully and it becomes inconsequential.

110 min, Comedy/Drama directed by Vicente Amorim, Guillermo Arriaga and 10 other directors with Basil Hoffman, Emily Mortimer, Rodrigo Santoro, Bruna Linzmeyer, Nadine Labaki,

Note:  Imdb 5.2 out of 10, 9% critic 9% audience on Rotten Tomatoes, Roger Ebert 1 ½*, Amazon 3.8* out of 5* with 7 reviews.
Special Note:  Marcelo Serrado is in the segment with Sugarloaf Mountain.  He is afraid of heights and he used steel cables to lift himself up the mountain.  In post-production the cables were removed.
