Come Early Morning DVD 2007

The setting of this film is a small town near Little Rock Arkansas.  Lucy is 30 in her 30's and she works for a construction firm.  On the weekends she goes to bars and she drinks.  She meets someone at a bar, goes home with them and then she sneaks away in the early morning.  She insists on paying for the motel room and she gets a cab to take her home.  Lucy cares a LOT about her father and he has just come back to town.  He is painfully shy and he doesn’t have much to say to Lucy.  She goes to church with him on Sunday mornings.  Her Nana lives nearby and she goes to visit her a lot too.  Lucy meets Cal Percell and tries to work with her on her self-destructive behavior patterns.
Lucy has a LOT of baggage from her past in this film.  Cal gives it his best shot but he doesn’t know if he can break down her inner and outer walls.  Lucy works hard at her job and she’s good at it.  She doesn’t know how to get over her past and change her current behavior.  She wants to change but she doesn’t know if she can.  It's easier to stay the same?  3* (This movie is OK)
