My Month with Mrs. Potter 2018

Ryan is a small time criminal on the run after a diamond heist goes wrong.  He is caught breaking into a cottage by the owner Mrs. Potter.  She appears to be a bitter, unsociable, self isolated old lady and she has been given just a month to live.  The other titles for her aren't true except for just a month for her to live.  She is confronting the young man who has broken into her house and broken a vase?  He would also like to steal money from her if he can find any!!

Although, from very different worlds, the two realize they can help each other and agree to spend the month working together.  It's a hasty decision that turns into the most extraordinary month of both of their lives.  It is a month that changes everything!!!  Some people do deserve a second chance!!

This film is not self-indulgent and it turns out to be exactly what it was supposed to be.  A nice quiet film and character study.  The writing is good, the performances are good and I loved the setting.  The scenery of this area is very beautiful.  There are not very many reviews for this film and it is easy to get it mixed up with the film Miss Potter 2006 with Rene Zellweger.  3 1/2* (I liked this movie)
