Khodorkovsky 2011

Product Details     Mikhail Khodorkovsky was formerly the richest man in Russia.  He gained his fortune as the head of Yukos, one of the largest Russian companies to come out of privatization.  Yukos was involved in the development of the Siberian oil fields.  Now he is a famous political prisoner, he had a chance to escape but he came back into the country.  Officially, he was jailed on tax and embezzlement charges but is his crime daring to disagree with Vladimir Putin?
I could not finish this film, it became an exhausting effort without reward.  It’s like watching 112 minutes of news about the same subject.   2* (I didn’t like this movie)

111 min, Doc directed by Cyril Tuschi with Jean-Marc Barr, Harvey Friedman as narrators.

Note:  Blockbuster 3 ½*,  imdb 6.6 out of 10, 85% critic 67% audience on Rotten Tomatoes.
