Francois runs an upscale antique shop with his business
partner, Catherine. They are at an
auction when Francois suddenly starts recklessly bidding on a valuable vase. The vase had been commissioned to honor
the death of a man’s best friend, it was said he had filled the vase with
tears. Catherine makes a bet with
Francois that he cannot show he has one real friend in 10 days. If she wins, he gives her the vase.
This is funny and Francois only has business associates and
no real friends. He starts out on
a quest to discover how to smile, be sociable and sincere. 3 ½* (I liked this movie)
