Nihat
has taken a job as a watchman at a remote forest fire tower in Turkey. He was married with a son but they were
killed in a car accident when he was driving. Seher has taken a job as the hostess on a tour bus and she
has a room at a rural bus station.
She had been attending college but has dropped out and was able to get
this job because her uncle was a former bus driver. Nihat has stopped in at the station for a meal and he notices
that Seher is supposed to be on duty but she’s gone? He sees her out the window and she is leaving with her bag? He is both curious about her behavior
and wondering if she needs help?
In
the beginning this film is very slow paced and I wondered if I would be able to
finish. It is worth the wait and events
take place that are totally unexpected.
Both Nihat and Seher are suffering in different ways but the kindness of
Nihat will rescue both of them. 3
½* (I liked this movie)
