Ethel Kennedy was the
wife of Robert Kennedy. She raised
their eleven children after his death.
Rory Kennedy, the filmmaker and the youngest daughter, interviewed
seven of her brothers and sisters for this film.
She was born after the death of her father. Many photographs and family footage add to the film. Ethel was involved in all aspects of
her husband’s life and in the lives of her children. Their main goal for the family was to give back to society. They were fortunate in their lives
except for the deaths and it was a responsibility to help others.
This is good and
quite interesting. I knew there
were a lot of children but I didn’t know Ethel had eleven. She has over 30 grandchildren at the
time of filming. 3 ½* (I liked
this movie)
