World on Fire Episode 3 2019

Kaisa is facing deportation and so are many others.  Tom’s ship has been in the south Atlantic and it was been sunk by a German ship.  Tom received treatment for minor injuries, some of his mates were killed and others have serious injuries.  Douglas, Tom’s father listens to the radio nervously about news of the ship but the reception is too fuzzy.  Harry and Lois have not yet witnessed combat.  Harry leads a British unit digging foxholes.  Lois is touring military bases to entertain soldiers.  A son of the Rossler’s is also in danger, he’s in the German army in Warsaw.  Kasia is bringing German soldiers to the resistance so they can be killed.  It is Jan’s birthday, Robina gives the other boys at his school a stern lecture about their bullying and Jan’s bravery.  Jan’s older brother Gregor is in Eastern Poland with his fellow fugitive Konrad.  They beg a farmer for food and a short stay in the cellar.  There are many meaningless killings in Berlin and Warsaw.
The Rossler’s are horrified that Nancy has talked to Dr. Voller and then come to their apartment to warn them.  They believe she was followed and it will be only a short time before the Germans will come to collect their daughter Hilde!!  They are very worried because she has epilepsy and she would be taken from them for "treatment" by the Germans.  Lois and Harry meet again, she tells him she doesn't need him and she can look after herself.  5* (I really liked this series)
