I'm not sure of the purpose of this film, I thought it would tell both sides of the issue between Israel and Palestine but this is just one side with limited information as well. Miral has lived in an orphanage school since she was seven years old, now she is seventeen. She's not sure if violent struggle is the answer or a peaceful deliberate approach to independence. I like Hiam Abbass as an actress but this film doesn't give answers to the questions. 3* (This movie is OK)112 min, Drama, directed by Julian Schnabel with Freida Pinto, Hiam Abbass, Willem Dafoe.
Note: Blockbuster 3*, imdb 5.8 out of 10, 16% critic 57% audience on Rotten Tomatoes.
