An illegal immigrant works as a gardener in LA, he's determined to give his teenage son a better life. He has the opportunity to buy a pickup truck along with gardening tools from his work partner of six years. His sister has been saving money and she agrees to loan him enough to by the truck. He has one big problem, he doesn't have a drivers license and his son is having a problem with gangs trying to bring him into their life of crime.This is very good and Demian Bichir received an Academy Award Nomination for Best Actor. Every minute after he buys the truck you wonder if something is going to happen? What is going to happen to the son after his best friend joins a gang? 4* (I really liked this movie)
