Adapted from a novel by Marti Leimbach. Victor is undergoing treatment for leukemia, he has been sick for 10 years. His wealthy father wants him to hire a nurse but he hires Hilary just because he likes her to help him through the rough parts of chemotherapy treatment. Hilary doesn't know if she can handle this job after the first round of treatment.This is from 1991 and only slightly dated, it's enjoyable to watch even though the outcome may not be happy. I didn't know that Campbell Scott was the son of Colleen Dewhurst and George C. Scott. 3 1/2* (I liked this movie)
