Based on Athol Fugard's
award wining play about racism during the Apartheid era in South
Africa. Harold (Hally) spent a lot of time after school with the two men who
worked for his mother in their cafe. Hally has a very difficult time
with his father because he is an invalid alcoholic. When Hally learns
that his father will be coming home from the hospital, he takes his anger and pain
out on Sam and Willie.I didn't know in the beginning of watching this film that it was based on a play. You can tell this was based on a play, screenplay is very slow moving and takes a long time to get to a point. 3* (This movie is OK)
