Chasing Madoff 2010

Chasing Madoff (2011)     This film is the compelling story of Harry Markopolos and his team of investigator's ten year struggle to expose the truth behind the Madoff scandal. Throughout the decade long investigation, Markopolos pieced together a chain of white collar predators consisting of bankers, lieutenants, and henchmen, all linked to the devastating Ponzi scheme.  Even with risk and danger, Markopolos and his team relentlessly continued to pursue the truth.  Finding that no one will listen to him or take him seriously, the Boston securities analyst turned investigator feared for his life and the safety of his family.
So many agencies and so many people were told that Madoff was running a fraud scheme but people were making money.  Money talks, follow the money, no one wanted the money to shut off.  Markopolos carried a gun, alarmed his house and checked for car bombs every day.  His life and their parenting of their children changed and they were over-protected because he felt the need to look over his shoulder every minute.  4* (I really liked this movie)

91 min, Doc directed by Jeff Prosserman with Frank Casey, Neil Chelo, Marc A. Hermann, Gaytri Kachroo, Bernie Madoff, Harry Makopolos, Michael Ocrant.
