Karen discovers after 10 years of
marriage that she has left behind her dreams by devoting herself to home
chores. She realizes it has been a mistake that cost her youth.
She decides to leave her husband to go in search of a different life.
She uses her savings to rent a room for 3 months in the center of
Bogota. She tries to get a job but her age and inexperience make it
difficult. She goes to visit her mother but her husband comes to try to
convince her to return to the marriage. She didn't know her mother would call him to come and visit her. Karen will have to decide
between returning to the stability of a relationship or facing life
for herself.Some information on the DVD box is not included in the film, the 10 years of marriage, where she got the money to rent her room and the reason she left the marriage is not given in the beginning. Karen has it rough for a while with no money to use for food, her only option is to claim her purse was stolen and beg from strangers. 3 1/2* (I liked this movie)
