A Dark Truth 2012

Jack is a former undercover CIA agent and now he’s a political talk show host.  He’s hired by the daughter of a water company founder to find out what is going on with their operations in South America.  There has been a typhus outbreak and she was tipped off that her employees had a role in the massacre of a village as a cover-up.  As soon as he arrives, Jack is caught up in a violent and chaotic situation with the military.  He succeeds in bringing back witnesses who are willing to testify against this powerful corporation.  As soon as the group arrives near the headquarters, this sets off a firestorm of bullets.
There is something off about this from the beginning, more like a TV movie and not a recent one.  The message is a good one but Garcia cannot constantly pull everyone up by their bootstraps.  2 ½* (This movie is so-so)

102 in, Action directed by Damian Lee with Deborah Kara Unger, Andy Garcia, Forest Whitaker, Eva Longoria, Kim Coates, Al Sapienza, Devon Bostick.

Note:  Blockbuster 1 ½*, imdb 5.3 out of 10, 8% critic 41% audience on Rotten Tomatoes.
