Children of the Stones 1977

This is a min-series originally shown in England.  The story takes place in a British village called Milbury.  This village is the home of a Stonehenge type megalithic stone circle.  Matthew Brake bought a painting depicting the stone circle and he follows his father Adam Brake to the village for scientific experiments.  Adam is an astrophysicist and he has brought his equipment to test the properties of the stones.
Maybe one of the most ridiculous films I’ve ever seen!!!  The creepy music and singing are enough to make you want to stop watching immediately!!  It's also possible this will either curl or straighten your hair as you watch??  Unfortunately, you become fascinated by the hairstyles of 1977 and the mannerisms of the people.  3* (This movie is OK)

30 min each episode, 174 min total, Drama directed by Peter Graham Scott with Iain Cuthbertson, Freddie Jones, John Woodnut, Veronica Strong, Gareth Thomas, June Barrie, Peter Denim, Darren Hatch, Ruth Dunning, Katharine Levy, Peggy Ann Wood, Ian Donnelly.

Note:  The book has 4.10* out of 5* with 48 ratings on goodreads.com.   Imdb 7.7 out of 10, 89% audience on Rotten Tomatoes, Amazon 4* out of 5* with 24 reviews, DVD Talk average 3.4* out of 5*.
Special Note:  This program was rebroadcast in the US as part of the The Third-Eye mini-series and it first aired in 1983 on Nickelodeon.  Filmed in Avebury, Wiltshire, England, UK.  There are stone circles, standing stones, stone rows and dolemans in England but I didn't see any listed for Milbury.  There is a Milbury Heath in South Gloucestershire.
