Prime Suspect 6: The Last Witness 2003

Prime Suspect 6 (2003)     Jane Tennison has managed to move up the ranks in the police force but not without opposition every step of the way.  Now the department is thinking about her retirement but she’s not happy about the thought or the idea.  A Bosnian immigrant worker is found murdered in an apartment complex undergoing renovations.  This is a very tough case, one small clue leads to the discovery of many complex clues.  One step forward and two steps back with every clue.
This is very good, some of the information can be pieced together and give you an idea of what you think is happening but it’s not a sure bet.  Good screenplay, plot and acting with a tough subject.  4 ½* (I really liked this movie)

200 min, Crime directed by Tom Hooper with Helen Mirren, Oleg Menshikov, Ben Miles, Robert Pugh, Clare Holman, Mark Strong, Liam Cunningham, Velibor Topic, Barnaby Kay, Tanya Moodie.

Note:  Blockbuster 4*, imdb 8.2 out of 10, no critic review 94% audience on Rotten Tomatoes.
