Based
on an autobiographical book by psychic James Van Praagh. James spent most of his life either
denying his clairvoyant gifts or facing being called a freak. Friends and family members shunned him
and didn’t believe his visions were real.
He begins to assist the police in solving crimes and this does bring him
some personal reward.
I
thought that James Van Praagh was a hoax and more of a charlatan than a real
clairvoyant? I looked him up on
Wikipedia and he has both believers and skeptics. It was interesting to learn he was the co-executive producer
of the Ghost Whisperer on CBS with Jennifer Love Hewitt. Ted
Danson looks nothing like Van Praagh? 3 ½* (I liked this movie)
