DCI Banks Season 2 Episode 3: Dry Bones That Dream: Part 1 2012

Banks is called in to investigate the death of Keith Rothwell, he is a mild-mannered accountant who appears to be the victim of a contract killing?  Keith was dragged from the family home and he was killed by a masked intruder?  Nothing is stolen and musician Pamela Jefferies comes forward to say that she knew Rothwell as her married lover Robert Calvert?  Overbearing wife Mary doesn’t know anything about Pamela?  Solicitor Daniel Norcliffe disappears and DCI Burgees believes he may be a link between Fleming and Rothwell in a money laundering scheme.

Pamela Jefferies said that she thought Keith felt trapped by how people saw him and perhaps how he saw himself.  He may have come to realize that he wasn't actually being true to who he really was?  He was overly controlled and it must have been complicated to have two separate lives?  He used to tell Pamela, “Let’s keep it in the moment.”  He loved music and that may have been because it holds you in the moment.  Pamela was a musician and that may have drawn him to her?  5* (I really like this series)
