A Stranger is Watching 1982

This movie is based on a novel written by Mary Higgins Clark.  Julie the 11-year old daughter and also the girlfriend of a man whose wife had been raped and killed in front of his daughter three years earlier are kidnapped by the same killer.  They are held captive in a bunker below Grand Central Station, the two captives plot their escape while the police try to track the kidnapper.

Beneath New York’s Grand Central Station, a killer can hide, victims can disappear and a million witnesses will never know it happened!!  Ronald Thompson knows he is not guilty of the murder for which he is about to be executed.  There are only two days left to unmask the real villain.  This person is a terrifying psychopath who has killed before and has unfinished business with his victim's family.

The killer is the psychotic Artie Taggart.  He has imprisoned his captives below Grand Central Station.  He throws police into a race against time to save the girlfriend and daughter.  Plus, the police want desperately to catch the killer.  3 1/2* (I liked this movie)
