Big River Man 2008

Big River Man
Martin Strel is a 4 time world record holding endurance swimmer, he has
a dream to swim the 3375 miles of the Amazon River.  The journey is treacherous and dangerous.  There are crocodiles, piranhas, giant anacondas and pollution.  The swim takes 66 grueling days of willpower, drinking alcohol and ill health.  The intense strain takes a toll on Martin and his crew.
This makes you wonder every minute if Martin is going to burst from high blood pressure, fry from sunburn, or go crazy and swim off into the sunset?  3 1/2* (I liked this movie)

101 min, Doc directed by John Maringouin with Martin Strel, Matthew Mohikie, Borut Strel (Martin's son).

Note:  Blockbuster 3 1/2*imdb 7.0 out of 10, 90% critic 77% audience on Rotten Tomatoes.
