Emma is a principled working-class girl who forges a unique bond with a wealthy jet-setter that spans two decades. On the night of her graduation, July 15, 1988, Emma meets Dexter, she dreams of making the world a better place, he looks forward to a future of comfort and privilege. Checking back with them every July 15th for the next 20 years, we see their happiness, hardship, heartache.There is something about this movie that I did not like from the beginning, you just do not care about Emma and you really don't care about Dexter. It may be the flip way that the characters are played but the entire movie seems useless until the ending which I did not like. 2* (I did not like this movie)
