Every Day 2009

Every Day (2009)    Ned struggles to keep his family and himself together under trying circumstances.  He is a writer for a TV series, at home his wife Jeannie has brought her elderly father to live with them.  Ernie has a temper and his ill health has pushed him into suicidal depression.  Ned and Jeannie have two teenage sons, Jonah has recently come out and Ethan is deeply troubled by his grandfather's health problems.
Every scene in this movie is dark and dreary, there is not a single white cloud or happy moment.  It is a total downer and has nothing redeeming, even the TV series discussions have nothing but terrible plots to add to the mix.  1 1/2* (I really didn't like this movie)

93 min, drama directed by Richard Levine with Liev Schreiber, Helen Hunt, Carla Gugino, Ezra Miller, Skyler Fortgang, David Harbour, Eddie Izzard, Brian Dennehy.

Note:  Blockbuster 2 1/2*, imdb 5.5 out of 10, 33% critic 25% audience on Rotten Tomatoes.
