Rival warlords battle for supremacy in the young republic of China but the Shaolin temple offers sanctuary to the injured masses. General Hou Jie loses his precious daughter and his wife leaves him, this causes him to join the temple as a monk. Hou Lung launches an all-out attack on the temple and the real fight begins.This is manpower without number, fighting in every manner possible, the wealthy and the impoverished along with the religious. Difficult to keep track of the battle leaders. 3* (This movie is OK)
