Bosch Season 2 2015

LAPD homicide detective Harry Bosch is back on the job after a suspension.  He was on trial for the shooting of a suspect he had been chasing.  There was a complication when his partner Edgar stayed in the patrol car and Bosch chased the suspect on foot alone.  The next case for Bosch is investigating a dead body found in the trunk of a car on Mulholland Drive.  The victim is Tony Allen and it appears the murder may have mob connections?  George Irving is the son of Deputy Chief Irving and he has been assigned to an undercover plainclothes position.  It is suspected that there are some dirty cops among the LAPD.  Bosch and Edgar are looking into Vegas mob boss Joey Marks concerning the murder case.  Bosch’s former wife Eleanor is approached by the FBI about joining in on their investigations as an agent.
There are a LOT of complications in this season!!  Could Tony’s wife have anything to do with his murder or is it the mob?  Does Deputy Chief Irving know his son is doing this undercover work?  This can be very dangerous if the dirty cops find out he is not on their side?  Will it be safe for Eleanor to go back working with the FBI?  Along with all these things going on, Bosch is still working on solving the cold case of his mother’s murder.  5* (I really liked this series)
