Hit & Run 2012

Hit & Run     Charlie Bronson was getaway car driver placed in the witness protection program after he testified against his fellow bank robbers.  He feels he’s living in a very small dead end town but he meets Annie.  She’s a professor and she wants to move to LA to start a new teaching department.  Charlie doesn’t want her to go without him so he decides he will move with her.  The only complication is the other bank robbers were released and are in LA.
If only they would just drive the cars and stop talking about passive problem solving and relationship issues.  Most of the cars are from the personal collection of Dax Shepard.  Since Dax trained with at the Groundlings Theater for imrov and sketch comedy, shouldn’t this be lot less tedious and sleep inducing?  2 ½* (This movie is so-so)

101 min, Comedy directed by David Palmer, Dax Shepard with Bradley Cooper, Tom Arnold, Kristen Bell, Joy Bryant, Michael Rosenbaum, Ryan Hansen, Kristin Chenoweth.

Note:  Blockbuster 3*, imdb 6.0 out of 10, 48% critic 50% audience on Rotten Tomatoes.
