Locke 2013

     Ivan Locke works construction as a foreman and he’s involved with a major project.  He leaves the construction site for a two-hour drive from Birmingham to London.  He drives and he makes calls.  He calls his wife, sons, co-workers and his boss.  He has a secret to tell them and he wants to tell it but still remain in his marriage and his job. 

     OK, this is a different premise, showing one character in a movie and all he is doing is riding in a car.  I felt like a hostage riding in the trunk of this car instead of a viewer.  Tom Hardy was well cast and he gives a good performance but there seems to be too many limitations.  2 ½* (This movie is so-so)

85 min, Drama directed by Steven Knight with Tom Hardy and the voices of Olivia Colman, Ruth Wilson, Andrew Scott, Ben Daniels, Tom Holland, Bill Milner, Danny Webb, Alice Lowe, Silas Carson, Lee Ross, Kirsty Dillon.
